# Parc Astérix vs RED TV

The clearest difference is ads: Parc Astérix at none against RED TV's shown. Parc Astérix also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (61% vs 53%). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RED TV holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 3.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Parc Astérix's written reviews are positive against 53% of RED TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Parc Astérix ships an update fortnightly, RED TV every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
