# Trux Drive vs AggDirect Trucker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AggDirect Trucker at 100% against Trux Drive's 46%. AggDirect Trucker also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Trux Drive's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 9). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Trux Drive holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trux Drive has 2.8K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Trux Drive's written reviews are positive against 100% of AggDirect Trucker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trux Drive ships an update every 3 weeks, AggDirect Trucker weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
