# Fishbowl vs Trailmoji

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Trailmoji at 55% against Fishbowl's 19%. Trailmoji also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Fishbowl's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 40) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fishbowl holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fishbowl has 23K ratings behind it against 40, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Fishbowl's written reviews are positive against 55% of Trailmoji's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fishbowl ships an update every 2 months, Trailmoji every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
