# Fishbowl vs Badgify

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fishbowl at none against Badgify's 1. Fishbowl also leads on ratings volume (23K vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Badgify's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Badgify sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Fishbowl asks for nothing beyond the download.

Badgify holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fishbowl has 23K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fishbowl ships an update every 2 months, Badgify weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
