# Google Cloud vs My Danube

The clearest difference is monetization model: My Danube at free against Google Cloud's free with in-app purchases. My Danube also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Google Cloud's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (105 vs 14). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.4 for Google Cloud against 3.5 for My Danube. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Cloud has 105 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 29% of Google Cloud's written reviews are positive against 33% of My Danube's.

Google Cloud ships an update weekly, My Danube monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
