# Blacktag vs EVENTIM BR

The clearest difference is monetization model: Blacktag at free against EVENTIM BR's free with in-app purchases. Blacktag also leads on review sentiment (21% vs 9%) and ratings volume (891 vs 170). EVENTIM BR's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Blacktag against 4.8 for EVENTIM BR. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blacktag has 891 ratings behind it against 170, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 21% of Blacktag's written reviews are positive against 9% of EVENTIM BR's.

Blacktag ships an update every 5 weeks, EVENTIM BR fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
