# VI365 vs WLAN Trail camera

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WLAN Trail camera at 100% against VI365's 12%. WLAN Trail camera also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). VI365's advantage is rating (2.0 vs 1.0) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VI365 holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VI365 has 162 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of VI365's written reviews are positive against 100% of WLAN Trail camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VI365 ships an update fortnightly, WLAN Trail camera every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
