# MyPackagedDeal vs Blast Softball

The clearest difference is rating: Blast Softball at 4.1 against MyPackagedDeal's 3.0. Blast Softball also leads on ratings volume (223 vs 14) and chart position (#170 vs unranked). MyPackagedDeal's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blast Softball sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. MyPackagedDeal asks for nothing beyond the download.

Blast Softball holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blast Softball has 223 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of MyPackagedDeal's written reviews are positive against 27% of Blast Softball's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyPackagedDeal ships an update every 4 weeks, Blast Softball every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
