# Virgin Active UK vs Heartcore

The clearest difference is monetization model: Virgin Active UK at free against Heartcore's free with in-app purchases. Virgin Active UK also leads on ratings volume (683 vs 2) and review sentiment (44% vs 20%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Heartcore holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Virgin Active UK has 683 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Virgin Active UK's written reviews are positive against 20% of Heartcore's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Virgin Active UK ships an update monthly, Heartcore every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
