# Z Control vs IntelliFire

The clearest difference is rating: IntelliFire at 4.2 against Z Control's 2.4. IntelliFire also leads on ratings volume (440 vs 67). Z Control's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IntelliFire holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IntelliFire has 440 ratings behind it against 67, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Z Control's written reviews are positive against 22% of IntelliFire's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Z Control ships an update every 6 weeks, IntelliFire every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
