# FILTIST vs Funny Face

The clearest difference is rating: FILTIST at 4.4 against Funny Face's 1.0. FILTIST also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (28 vs 3). Funny Face's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FILTIST sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Funny Face sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FILTIST holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FILTIST has 28 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FILTIST ships an update every 2 months, Funny Face every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
