# FILTIST vs WallShader

The clearest difference is rating: WallShader at 5.0 against FILTIST's 4.4. WallShader also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.6). FILTIST's advantage is ratings volume (28 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FILTIST sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and WallShader sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WallShader holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FILTIST has 28 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FILTIST ships an update every 2 months, WallShader monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
