# Randomizer vs Randomizer

Randomizer and Randomizer both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of Randomizer's written reviews are positive against 25% of Randomizer's. Randomizer also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (270 vs 20). Randomizer's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Randomizer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Randomizer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Randomizer against 4.6 for Randomizer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Randomizer has 270 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of Randomizer's written reviews are positive against 25% of Randomizer's.

Randomizer ships an update every 5 weeks, Randomizer every 2 months. Both last shipped on September 29, 2026.
