# KLANG vs D

The clearest difference is rating: D at 5.0 against KLANG's 4.2. KLANG's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

D holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KLANG has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

KLANG ships an update every 3 weeks, D every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
