# iDiskk Pro vs SwitchMemory

The clearest difference is rating: iDiskk Pro at 2.5 against SwitchMemory's 1.0. iDiskk Pro also leads on ratings volume (318 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). SwitchMemory's advantage is review sentiment (31% vs 14%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iDiskk Pro holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iDiskk Pro has 318 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of iDiskk Pro's written reviews are positive against 31% of SwitchMemory's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iDiskk Pro ships an update every 2 months, SwitchMemory every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
