# iDiskk Pro vs iBackup Kit

The clearest difference is rating: iDiskk Pro at 2.5 against iBackup Kit's 1.3. iDiskk Pro also leads on monetization model (free vs paid) and ratings volume (318 vs 9). iBackup Kit's advantage is review sentiment (34% vs 14%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iDiskk Pro holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iDiskk Pro has 318 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of iDiskk Pro's written reviews are positive against 34% of iBackup Kit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iDiskk Pro ships an update every 2 months, iBackup Kit every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
