# Outwalk vs Outstep Step up Challenge

Outwalk and Outstep Step up Challenge both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Outstep Step up Challenge's written reviews are positive against 46% of Outwalk's. Outstep Step up Challenge also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months). Outwalk's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 9) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Outwalk sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Outstep Step up Challenge sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Outwalk against 4.6 for Outstep Step up Challenge. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Outwalk has 2.1K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.
