# Doodle Hoppers vs Bugsnax

The clearest difference is rating: Doodle Hoppers at 5.0 against Bugsnax's 4.5. Doodle Hoppers also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 13.0). Bugsnax's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bugsnax sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Doodle Hoppers asks for nothing beyond the download.

Doodle Hoppers holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bugsnax has 1.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Doodle Hoppers's written reviews are positive against 81% of Bugsnax's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Doodle Hoppers ships an update every 3 months, Bugsnax every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
