# JustServe vs Rentler

JustServe and Rentler both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 73% of JustServe's written reviews are positive against 37% of Rentler's. JustServe also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Rentler's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (3K vs 237). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rentler holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rentler has 3K ratings behind it against 237, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of JustServe's written reviews are positive against 37% of Rentler's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

JustServe ships an update every 2 months, Rentler every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
