# Dear Diary vs Later Daters

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Dear Diary at 2.8K against Later Daters's 16. Later Daters's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dear Diary sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Later Daters sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Dear Diary against 4.3 for Later Daters. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dear Diary has 2.8K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Dear Diary's written reviews are positive against 80% of Later Daters's.
