# wayForward vs eM Life

The clearest difference is rating: eM Life at 4.7 against wayForward's 1.7. eM Life also leads on ratings volume (328 vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). wayForward's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (63% vs 37%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. eM Life sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. wayForward asks for nothing beyond the download.

eM Life holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eM Life has 328 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of wayForward's written reviews are positive against 37% of eM Life's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

wayForward ships an update every 3 weeks, eM Life every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
