# Legendary VR vs VR Creator

The clearest difference is rating: VR Creator at 4.1 against Legendary VR's 2.0. VR Creator also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months). Legendary VR's advantage is review sentiment (66% vs 47%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VR Creator holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 21 and 54 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Legendary VR's written reviews are positive against 47% of VR Creator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Legendary VR ships an update every 9 months, VR Creator every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
