# TripShot vs XRadar

The clearest difference is review sentiment: XRadar at 81% against TripShot's 22%. XRadar also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). TripShot's advantage is ratings volume (5.3K vs 62) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TripShot holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TripShot has 5.3K ratings behind it against 62, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of TripShot's written reviews are positive against 81% of XRadar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TripShot ships an update every 5 weeks, XRadar weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
