# S2 vs Orum Training

The clearest difference is rating: Orum Training at 5.0 against S2's 4.1. Orum Training also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). S2's advantage is ratings volume (129 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. S2 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $22.99 per year and Orum Training sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Orum Training holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: S2 has 129 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

S2 ships an update fortnightly, Orum Training every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
