# K vs Kurd POS

The clearest difference is update cadence: Kurd POS at weekly against K's every 2 months. Kurd POS also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). K's advantage is ratings volume (5.5K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kurd POS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: K has 5.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

K ships an update every 2 months, Kurd POS weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
