# Salah vs Mawaqeet

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Salah at 100% against Mawaqeet's 33%. Salah also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (monthly vs every 63 months). Mawaqeet's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (3 vs 1). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mawaqeet sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Salah asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mawaqeet holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Salah's written reviews are positive against 33% of Mawaqeet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Salah ships an update monthly, Mawaqeet every 63 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
