# Synap Office vs Speed Typing

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Synap Office at 45% against Speed Typing's 0%. Synap Office also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 17.0). Speed Typing's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 1.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speed Typing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Synap Office asks for nothing beyond the download.

Speed Typing holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Synap Office's written reviews are positive against 0% of Speed Typing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
