# NetHome Plus vs mhPBX

The clearest difference is ratings volume: NetHome Plus at 14K against mhPBX's 17. NetHome Plus also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NetHome Plus holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NetHome Plus has 14K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NetHome Plus ships an update every 3 weeks, mhPBX every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
