# OLIO vs Pure Pizza

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pure Pizza at none against OLIO's 16. Pure Pizza also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (89% vs 73%). OLIO's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (791 vs 3). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OLIO sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Pure Pizza asks for nothing beyond the download.

OLIO holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OLIO has 791 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of OLIO's written reviews are positive against 89% of Pure Pizza's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OLIO ships an update weekly, Pure Pizza every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
