# Skydive LogBook vs Skyduck

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Skydive LogBook at none against Skyduck's 3. Skydive LogBook also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). Skyduck's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (175 vs 10). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skyduck sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Skydive LogBook asks for nothing beyond the download.

Skyduck holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skyduck has 175 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Skydive LogBook's written reviews are positive against 80% of Skyduck's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skydive LogBook ships an update every 10 days, Skyduck every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
