# Private Browser Deluxe vs Aloha Browser

The clearest difference is ads: Aloha Browser at none against Private Browser Deluxe's shown. Aloha Browser also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (315K vs 14K). Private Browser Deluxe's advantage is review sentiment (81% vs 49%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Private Browser Deluxe sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Aloha Browser sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aloha Browser holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aloha Browser has 315K ratings behind it against 14K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Private Browser Deluxe's written reviews are positive against 49% of Aloha Browser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Private Browser Deluxe ships an update every 3 months, Aloha Browser fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
