# Private Browser Deluxe vs Kiwi

The clearest difference is update cadence: Kiwi at every 8 days against Private Browser Deluxe's every 3 months. Private Browser Deluxe's advantage is review sentiment (81% vs 52%) and ratings volume (14K vs 324). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Private Browser Deluxe sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Kiwi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Private Browser Deluxe against 4.6 for Kiwi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Private Browser Deluxe has 14K ratings behind it against 324, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of Private Browser Deluxe's written reviews are positive against 52% of Kiwi's.

Private Browser Deluxe ships an update every 3 months, Kiwi every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
