# PowerView vs Ismeralda

The clearest difference is ads: PowerView at none against Ismeralda's shown. PowerView also leads on ratings volume (2.4K vs 6) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Ismeralda's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for PowerView against 4.3 for Ismeralda. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PowerView has 2.4K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PowerView ships an update every 5 weeks, Ismeralda weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
