# Black People Meet vs NABA

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NABA at 100% against Black People Meet's 10%. NABA also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and ads (none vs shown). Black People Meet's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Black People Meet sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $16.99 per month and NABA sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NABA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Black People Meet has 21K ratings behind it against 145, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 10% of Black People Meet's written reviews are positive against 100% of NABA's.

Black People Meet ships an update fortnightly, NABA every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
