# eCampus vs Kappa Maths

The clearest difference is rating: Kappa Maths at 5.0 against eCampus's 3.7. Kappa Maths also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). eCampus's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. eCampus sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Kappa Maths sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kappa Maths holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eCampus has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

eCampus ships an update every 3 months, Kappa Maths monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
