# MemoCard Learn with Flashcards vs Vaia

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MemoCard Learn with Flashcards at none against Vaia's 17. MemoCard Learn with Flashcards also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Vaia's advantage is review sentiment (81% vs 50%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vaia sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. MemoCard Learn with Flashcards asks for nothing beyond the download.

MemoCard Learn with Flashcards holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vaia has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of MemoCard Learn with Flashcards's written reviews are positive against 81% of Vaia's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MemoCard Learn with Flashcards ships an update every 2 months, Vaia weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
