# Masters Pro vs Master UP

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Masters Pro at 787 against Master UP's 2. Masters Pro also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and chart position (#192 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Masters Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $23.99 per month and Master UP sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $23.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Masters Pro against 5.0 for Master UP. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Masters Pro has 787 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of Masters Pro's written reviews are positive against 85% of Master UP's.

Masters Pro ships an update fortnightly, Master UP every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
