# Space Pods vs Scolopendra

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scolopendra at every 3 months against Space Pods's every 30 months. Space Pods's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Space Pods sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Scolopendra sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Space Pods ships an update every 30 months, Scolopendra every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
