# D/Generation vs Othello

The clearest difference is update cadence: D/Generation at monthly against Othello's every 11 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. D/Generation sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Othello sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

D/Generation ships an update monthly, Othello every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
