# Freshmile vs IONITY

The clearest difference is rating: IONITY at 4.5 against Freshmile's 3.3. IONITY also leads on ratings volume (148 vs 8). Freshmile's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 44%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IONITY holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IONITY has 148 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Freshmile's written reviews are positive against 44% of IONITY's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
