# Communauto vs Allo

The clearest difference is rating: Communauto at 1.8 against Allo's 1.0. Communauto also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 26 months) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). Allo's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Communauto holds the better App Store score, 1.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Communauto has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Communauto ships an update every 3 months, Allo every 26 months. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
