# Recents vs PDF2MD

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Recents at 58% against PDF2MD's 14%. Recents also leads on rating (4.2 vs 2.5) and ratings volume (20 vs 2). PDF2MD's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 33 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Recents costs $0.99 and PDF2MD $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Recents holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Recents has 20 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
