# Time Manage vs Stella

The clearest difference is rating: Time Manage at 5.0 against Stella's 4.2. Time Manage also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Stella's advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 56%) and ratings volume (26 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time Manage sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Stella sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Time Manage holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stella has 26 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Time Manage's written reviews are positive against 77% of Stella's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Time Manage ships an update every 4 days, Stella every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
