# TheaterEars vs Tu Score

TheaterEars and Tu Score both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Tu Score's written reviews are positive against 61% of TheaterEars's. Tu Score also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). TheaterEars's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (59K vs 8). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TheaterEars sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Tu Score asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for TheaterEars against 5.0 for Tu Score.
