# Whirlpool vs Deako

The clearest difference is rating: Whirlpool at 4.7 against Deako's 2.5. Whirlpool also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (27K vs 137). Deako's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and review sentiment (33% vs 22%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Whirlpool holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whirlpool has 27K ratings behind it against 137, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Whirlpool's written reviews are positive against 33% of Deako's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Whirlpool ships an update every 5 weeks, Deako every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
