# YI Home vs Mubview

YI Home and Mubview both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 79% of Mubview's written reviews are positive against 13% of YI Home's. Mubview also leads on ads (none vs shown). YI Home's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (72K vs 772). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YI Home sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Mubview sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for YI Home against 4.4 for Mubview. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YI Home has 72K ratings behind it against 772, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 13% of YI Home's written reviews are positive against 79% of Mubview's.

YI Home ships an update every 2 weeks, Mubview every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
