# Biocoded vs EXTRA SAFE

The clearest difference is update cadence: EXTRA SAFE at fortnightly against Biocoded's every 2 months. EXTRA SAFE also leads on ratings volume (100 vs 5) and review sentiment (82% vs 67%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Biocoded against 4.4 for EXTRA SAFE. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EXTRA SAFE has 100 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of Biocoded's written reviews are positive against 82% of EXTRA SAFE's.

Biocoded ships an update every 2 months, EXTRA SAFE fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
