# Sign PDF documents vs PDF Scanner

The clearest difference is rating: PDF Scanner at 4.6 against Sign PDF documents's 1.0. PDF Scanner also leads on ratings volume (38 vs 1). Sign PDF documents's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sign PDF documents sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and PDF Scanner sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
