# iRobot Home (Classic) vs Click Smart +

The clearest difference is update cadence: iRobot Home (Classic) at every 2 weeks against Click Smart +'s every 18 months. iRobot Home (Classic) also leads on ratings volume (172K vs 1) and chart position (#196 vs unranked). Click Smart +'s advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Click Smart + holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iRobot Home (Classic) has 172K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of iRobot Home (Classic)'s written reviews are positive against 67% of Click Smart +'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iRobot Home (Classic) ships an update every 2 weeks, Click Smart + every 18 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
