# Sideline vs VerifyHim

The clearest difference is rating: Sideline at 4.4 against VerifyHim's 3.2. Sideline also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 44) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). VerifyHim's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sideline sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and VerifyHim sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sideline holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sideline has 15K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Sideline's written reviews are positive against 42% of VerifyHim's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sideline ships an update every 2 weeks, VerifyHim every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
